skyPurple Cloud was founded in 2017 by Roy Long, a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience in Pharma IT. Throughout his career, Roy observed that fully automated cost optimisation tools often fell short in regulated environments, where strict compliance and change control are critical. Driven by a vision to bridge this gap, Roy set out to create a more holistic approach to cloud cost optimisation—one that balances innovation with compliance.
